Hi all,

I'm trying to install the rstan develop branch from github. This
worked fine for me for 2.7.0 a couple of weeks ago, but I now get the
following error when running "make install":

Error in compileCode(f, code, language = language, verbose = verbose) :

Compilation ERROR, function(s)/method(s) not created! In file
included from fileafd368118f91.cpp:433:

I'm on OS X 10.10.2, R 3.2.2. Any help much appreciated, thanks,

David.

Hi David,

The fix is in the works.

I need to get this pull request working: https://github.com/stan-dev/rstan/pull/213

That'll fix the incompatibility you're seeing. We're still working through development kinks after splitting our repos apart into submodules.

I'll post back when it has been fixed on the develop branch. (If you're feeling brave, you could chance the branch that I'm working on.)

Daniel
