Pystan problems

I'm having trouble getting pystan to work. I am able to import pystan without errors but I'm not able to run run. Can someone help?

Lack of compiler, compiler not on PATH, etc. Can you compile some hello world C++ program with Visual Studio?

I just reinstalled Visual Studio last night but I get the same error.

I have no idea, but hopefully Allen will jump in and
indicate whether it's possible to run PyStan with Visual Studio.

I think it's fair to say that apart from the installation instructions
here:

https://pystan.readthedocs.org/en/latest/windows.html

there's nobody to provide support for Windows problems. People have
reported getting it to work on Windows but that's about all I can say.
Better testing is definitely on the todo list.
