My old lectures from the Machine Learning Summer School have been pretty
popular amongst many Stan users, but they suffer from two issues: firstly I was
deathly sick and the second is that we’ve learned a whole bunch in the meantime!
I have been giving similar but updated talks over the past few years, and fortunately
my talks last week were recorded and are now online.

Hope they prove helpful!

Ditto on the thanks!

I especially liked the explanation/visualization of shrinkage in the second talk. Also interesting to hear an explanation of the variety of terms I've seen associated with hierarchical models (mixed effects, multilevel, etc) that I'd previously taken as synonyms.
