Issue with modulus operator?

Is there a modulus operator for integers in stan modelling language? Like % in C or %% in R?

The manual states that the modulus function fmod for real values "

can seriously hinder sampling and optimization efficiency for gradient-based methods (e.g., NUTS, HMC, BFGS) if applied to parameters (includ- ing transformed parameters and local variables in the transformed parameters or model block)."
