Issue 1.

I'm still getting

...
c++ src/test/mcmc/models/improper.cpp -Lbin -lstan -o src/test/mcmc/models/improper
src/test/mcmc/models/improper.cpp:3:10: fatal error: 'stan/model/model_header.hpp' file not found
#include <stan/model/model_header.hpp>
^
1 error generated.

This was just after running clean-all, then running test-unit, then
running test-unit again, all with CC+clang++ and O=0.

Does this have to do with precompiled headers? If so, can
we just drop the precompiled headers if they only save us
10% in compile time?

Issue 2.

I ran a second time because when I ran test-unit the first time, there wasn't
an error, but it also didn't end on running any tests -- it ended with
compiler warnings. Is that expected because of the concurrency?

No way I can scroll so far back up to find it, though,
so I'm running again from scratch so I can report errors if
I get the same behavior again.

I tracked down the issue. There was a file src/test/mcmc/models/improper.cpp
that wasn't under version control. When I got rid of it,
everything worked again.

Now I'm wondering where improper.cpp came from. It was a Stan
model translated to C++.

I take it back. That file gets regenerated from scratch somehow.

test/mcmc/base_static_hmc --gtest_output="xml:test/mcmc/base_static_hmc.xml";
test/mcmc/base_nuts --gtest_output="xml:test/mcmc/base_nuts.xml";
src/test/mcmc/models/improper.cpp:3:10: fatal error: 'stan/model/model_header.hpp' file not found
#include <stan/model/model_header.hpp>
^
1 error generated.
make: *** [src/test/mcmc/models/improper] Error 1
make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

I think my pieces are working, so I'm just going to go ahead
and make my pull request and maybe Jenkins can sort it out.

Oh, and make clean-all doesn't get rid of it, either.
