It would be nice to link to that off of the main page if possible.  It's handy for people to know whether or not they want to upgrade (particularly with a big UI change like we did with command-line Stan).

We want people to switch to 2.0 because we won't
continue to patch 1.x versions.

I think most of our users are using Stan through
R, and that interface is much more stable.
