issue with transpose in R studio?

I'm not running RStudio myself, but Dawen Liang on the
users list reported having problems getting the transpose
operator to be accepted from a .R file within RStudio.

Any suggestions?

Scratch that request -- Ben blind-debugged it already :-)

(I love when someone guesses what's wrong with a program
without even seeing the code that's problematic.)
