The rstan 2.14.1 package has been released on CRAN and has binaries for Windows and Mac. Assuming you have followed

you can update to 2.14.1 with
We didn't really announce rstan 2.13.1 (which had many more changes than 2.14.1) due to the consternation over the NUTS bug, but all of the major changes are listed at
