The former WICB president has a few clarifying questions for embattled President Dave Cameron
Did he give any instructions to Lloyd re team selection for South Africa; and if not, is Lloyd acting outside of his authority?
If you are currently paid by the Board as an Executive President, are you aware that those payments are ultra vires because they are not provided for in the Constitution and may have to be refunded?
Let us be honest who cares that Bravo and Pollard etc have been excluded from the team? They have under performed for the last 10 years averaging around 20-25. Why not start fresh with hungry youngsters? Are we just statisfied on being the whipping boys of cricket? I remember when Pollard first came on the seen he would come out to bat and some of our own supporters would Boo him. It was embarassing at the time,today this man has not shown that he was better than that. Are we fooled by the entertainment factor. We are capable of better? Please lets us move on.
We have all said at sometime that Lloyd was our best captian. He is the head of selectors we question his judgement. Who do you support West Indies of individuals?

Bravo still is the best allrounder WI has and he was named part of the ICC ODI team of the year just recently...Try covering up all you want by Having Bravo and Narine in the ODI eleven will help WI more than what you are trying to project.
How many replacements you have average better than Bravo's 25 average in regional cricket?

What is the matter with you people? This is not about Pollard, Bravo and Sammy. This is about an agreement not to victimise which was broken. This is about the findings of the Task Force appointed by the same WICB that found the WICBandits culpable and guilty.

I do not mind the sacking of Pollard or Sammy since they were not good anyway. But Bravo was the best.
While the Task force has laid portion of blame on players (Not Just Bravo, Pollard and Sammy but all of them) they clearly stated who the Major culprit is. What actions have been taken on them anyway? Why is the Task Force recommendation partially implemented and that too on the lesser of the culprits by the report..

Well I'm sure allyuh know what has finally hit the fan.
Uncle Pat knows the Constitution well since Peter Short had to remind him of 'natural justice' during the South Africa crisis.
That said these are very serious questions. Nice to see everyone coming back to the real question here - the Lucky Report.
Cameron should have been removed since then but the incompetents known as the WICB were all under the spell of Hell.
Wish I had time to respond in detail.
Good to see Uncle Pat is well enough to respond to this mess.
The entire Board should resign starting with Cameron.

Victimisation. Yes. Just 6 weeks ago Bravo was the annointed Captain. Pollard and Sammy were the stars.
Now suddenly they can't make the team?
If that is not victimisation tell me what is?
It is high time we so called UPSTANDING West Indians stop the insularity. Fair is fair and right is right.

There seems to be two issues here. Whether there is a right via the WICB constitution for certain executives to receive pay, and whether Bravo et al were victimized and could sue

If the source of the Rousseau commentary is Rousseau - rest assured that he knows the constitution since Myers Fletcher Gordon is closely associated with the WICB.
Then there is the 'natural justice' issue which Peter Short had to remind Rousseau about back in 98.
There are other issues including Digicel and the sponsorship fee and the Lucky Report is always at the centre of any of these discussions.
Some folks should have been run from West Indies cricket forever after that report.

The man is one of the only executives ever associated with Cricket or politics in the region to apologise for a mistake he made.
You want to talk about your hero and his godfather lying and saying Hooper was injured.
Or colluding with Ken Gordon in a late night coup to disregard the selectors recommendation of Sarwan as cappo for the WC in 2007.

Below is an example of why you are called HypoChrissy. You like to talk about due process but when its people YOU like, it becomes a steeeewps.
It all began when West Indies selection panel made a formal recommendation for Ramnaresh Sarwan to take over from Shiv Chanderpaul as captain.
When the Sarwan nomination reached the board, it was rejected and Ken Gordon asked selection panel convenor Joey Carew to find out if Lara would be willing to take the job for a third time.
Carew and T&T cricket board president Deryck Murray met with Lara separately and sounded out his interest and commitment to leading the side into the 2007 World Cup.
Lara told the duo he would consider it if he got the full, unconditional support of the board. After those meetings, Carew and Murray reported that Lara said all the right things about his future and his commitment to West Indies cricket.
Gordon himself met with Lara to help convince the champion batsman that his leadership was needed to present a strong West Indies side at the World Cup.
Gordon felt he needed to act swiftly with his Lara appointment because an empowered cricket committee -- consisting of members with a strong anti-Lara sentiment -- could potentially derail the plans.
By now, the cricket committee got wind of the plans and some members went public to make it clear that they supported a long-term captain. Clive Lloyd and Andy Roberts were among the committee members who publicly supported Sarwan's candidacy for the post.
The weekend before his announcement, Gordon called a meeting of the WICB's executive committee (made up of the six regional board presidents) to listen to recommendations from himself and Murray for Lara to be confirmed. Jackie Hendricks did not dial in to the conference call, meaning that the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) was not represented at the meeting.
At that meeting, Gordon got approval from the majority of the executive committee and he instructed the outgoing CEO Roger Brathwaite to make arrangements for a press conference to make the announcement.
Brathwaite then told the president that the executive committee could not choose a captain because the board's own internal rules call for the full board (two directors from each territory) to approve the decision.
Gordon then asked the board presidents to consult with the six other directors and get a consensus on Lara.
In Guyana, Chetram Singh was having trouble reaching Bish Panday, his counterpart on the board. Jackie Hendricks and Dave Cameron, the two Jamaican directors, were left out of the loop altogether.
The rest of the directors were waiting for a board meeting to reconvene to vote on the matter when they heard that Ken Gordon had made the announcement on live radio with Lara at his side.

Didn't I tell you this would happen. Any employer would have done the same. Fire the employer on any ground. Its almost impossible to prove victimisation. By proof, I mean proof that would hold up in a court of law.
WICB played this smart. Ramdin and Sammy need to prepare for their sacking in due course.
