Update ip Portal

I have one problem, becoue I need to change the url of the portal for other ip, I want to try a create a new image with the new ip,
1.- Is posible create a new image with the ip portal or they are other method for change the all ip of the portal remote?

2.- And I send the new image from stalker portal remote or is necesary in the box directly?

1. Avoid specify ip for portal url, DNS name is more flexible for this puprose.

In your  case, must new firmware.

2. Yes, you can remotely but can be difficult, let`s try.

I found a good solution and easy from support of infomir. Thanks

You can try to use next variant:
Apply some changes to Stalker server in /stalker_portal/c/xpcom.common.js

This code you need to add in c/xpcom.common.js

In string new_portal you need to set your new portals address

So now when portal will loads on STB, Stalker will check variable portal1 and if it's different from the one that you set in string "new_portal",  it will be changed to one you have set in string "new_portal" c/xpcom.common.js
All STB's that are online you can reboot from admin-interface > events and they will automaticly change portal1 value.

This solution is great!

But one more step make it greater... can script be modify to make changes by group?

example: I have 3 groups of people, I want to make different portal url for each group.

How to modify this script so that this new update script can update specific group only?

Works fine i use some times only you need in the file add the lines with the + and remove line with -

Is it possible to modify script to  certain users receive new portal...
Maybe filter with MAC address
