hi all,

I have setup a new domain for the stalker portal to make it easier than with a dynamic dns service. I have set up a simple url redirect record with the domain hoster. Trouble is when i put this url in the server settings and then restart the mag box I am always receiving the message that my firmware is out of date. If i go to the stalker server via ip or via the old dns everything works fine. I am sure i'm just being really stupid and there is a simple answer for this and I hope someone can help out.

thx
steven

Bump . Can anyone help with this please. At the DNS entries record with domain host I have set up a URL redirect simply as xxx.xxx.xxx/stalker_portal/c/

I can see in the Apache log the domain name being listed as the referrer but if I try to access portal this way all mags are getting stb firmware outdated messages.

If I go direct to the portal with xxx.xxx.xxx/stalker_portal/c/ then everything works as normal. It's as if stalker doesn't like traffic incoming from a URL redirect.

Any clues.

Thx
Steven

hi aleksey,

stalker portal firmware is on latest version and also mag 250's/254's on latest stock informir firmware. Like I said all functions correctly if we type stalker adress in to server > portal as xxx.xxx.xxx/stalker_portal/c/ but if we type in as domainname/stalker_portal/c/ when the mag reloads the portal the message displayed is that stb firmware is outdated. My only thoughts are that somehow all traffic is not passing correctly on the domain name url redirect. How do we get debug log from stb ?

thx

in var/log/stalkerd there is this error in mac validation log

Tue, 06 Oct 2015 08:34:05 +0300] , undefined, , url=/stalker_portal/server/load.php?type=stb&action=get_profile&hd=1&ver=&num_banks=undefined&sn=undefined&stb_type=&image_version=undefined&device_id=&device_id2=&signature=&auth_second_step=0&hw_version=undefined&not_valid_token=0&JsHttpRequest=1-xml

in var/log/apache2/error.log

Tue Oct 06 08:34:05 2015] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] STB not found in the database, authorization failed. MAC: , token: 689C43173BB2A3CF56E8E352D5D98C37, referer: http://

in nginx log we see the incoming traffic with get commands : -

to lots of different files contained within stalker_portal/c/ & stalker_portal/server

these are all time stamped the same as apache log and mac_validation logs and contain same incoming ip's.

We are trying on genuine mag254 and mag250 stb.

look forward to help

thx

Hi aleksey

Problem I have is if I used the framed/masked URL redirect on the domain name. It appears that the Stalker server identifies the incoming get comments as being from a Mozilla client as opposed to a mag254stb. Would there be anything I could change on the stalker server to allow this sort of traffic to be passed. I would rather run the URL redirect as masked / framed with the domain host to be honest.

Also if I just hit my portal URL with say google chrome now I get the same message about stb outdated. Whereas previously before updating stalker server google chrome used to get message of stb blocked.

Thx for help so far

Steven

Without debug log I can not say anything.

I used the framed/masked URL
Most likely it will not work with a stalker.
