Hi neighbors 👋

We hope you’ve been enjoying the longer days like we have! Here are just a couple things to have in mind as we make our way toward Spring:

📒 Next meeting: 6PM Tuesday, Mar. 18th, St. Albans City Hall - All are welcome to attend this public meeting, and virtual options are available. An agenda will be on the City website.
_____

📅 Save the date: Green Up Day on May 3rd - It’s always a fulfilling opportunity to get together and clean up our city. Find more details here.
_____

ℹ️ Hazard Mitigation Survey - In case you missed it on Town Meeting Day, here’s a chance to fill out the survey virtually and inform our city’s Hazard Mitigation Plan. Unlike emergency management plans that are used in the event of a disaster, Hazard Mitigation Plans focus on what we could do before a disaster.
_____

🌱 Dreaming of your Spring gardening? Sign up for our free biochar waitlist! - You can add your name here. Biochar is great for anybody looking to enrich their soil: It’s a type of charcoal which is made at high temperatures. Benefits to plant growth vary depending on soil type, but generally, biochar can help supercharge your garden.
_____

That's all for now, everybody! Hope you’re staying safe and healthy.

Sincerely,
The St. Albans Climate & Energy Committee
