Hi neighbors,

Six more weeks of winter according to Punxatawney Phil, but either way, the days are getting longer! Here’s the latest climate & energy news:

🪟 WindowDressers Community Build - We want to send a HUGE thank you to all our volunteers that helped with our third annual WindowDressers event, Food City and Market 32 for the lunch donations, and Saint Paul's United Methodist Church for generously hosting us. This year, we served 17 families and community organizations with a total of 109 inserts, the majority of which were free inserts for low-income community members. Stay tuned for details on next year’s build.

📒 Next meeting: 6pm Tuesday, February 17th, St. Albans City Hall - All are welcome to attend the next public meeting, and virtual options are available. An agenda will be on the City website.

Q&A on VT Energy Efficiency Programs - Join us at our next meeting (details above) as guest speaker Tim Perrin, Director of Energy Management at VGS, shares details on how you can lower your energy costs. All are welcome.

📢 Call for new members! - Our committee is looking to add a new member and alternate. To apply or learn more, please contact Chip Sawyer (c.sa...@stalbansvt.com).

That's all for now, everybody! Take care. ❄️

Sincerely,

The St. Albans Climate & Energy Committee
