September is bringing the first hints of fall, and we have some exciting opportunities this month. Here’s the latest climate & energy news:

Affordable insulation opportunity - For a limited time, residents in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties can get affordable, insulating window inserts. WindowDressers is a non-profit that offers inserts at a highly reduced price; including up to 10 free inserts for low-income households! Fun fact: The inserts save about a gallon of heating fuel per sq. ft. of window and pay for themselves in less than two years. Next meeting: 6pm Tuesday, September 16th, St. Albans City Hall - All are welcome to attend this public meeting, and virtual options are available. An agenda is on the City website.
