I use Fl Studio and since some updates of Fl Studio and Native Access my plugins in the Komplete Kontrol player and Maschine doesnt work any more. Also in my Kontakt player comes the issue, Player too Old on my new ashlight instrument but all other ones work.
I have updated everything, in standalone everything works normal. But when i open it in Fruity loops my Plugin folder is empty. All locations are correct. Ive already, reinstalled everything, tried to relocate everything. I did not delete or move any folders.
First Check that the Version numbers of the Plugins are the same as the version Numbers of the Standalone Apps (All Three), if not, then when you upgraded, more than likely the Plugins did not get updated which would cause this issue. Make sure that Fruity Loops is scanning the Latest Versions of the plugins.
I would like to create audio plugins with Juce and, in order to do that, I tried if I would be able to test them in the AudioPlugin Host by using the ArpeggiatorTutorial example provided in tutorials.
Regarding plugin detection in the Jucer host, is there some way to only make my Juce created AudioUnits appear in the lists? When I scan it takes forever and I get all my regular plugins which is of no use when developing. For VST3, I can chose directory but not for AU.
FL Studio comes in several editions with different levels of functionality. The free trial version includes all of the program's features, all plugins, and allows users to render project audio to WAV, MIDI, MP3, FLAC and OGG.[7] Projects saved while in demo mode, however, can only be opened once FL Studio and its plugins have been registered. Also, instrument presets cannot be saved and the audio output of some instruments is cut out momentarily every few minutes until the program and its plugins have been registered.[18]
This edition includes the Producer Edition plus a series of plugins such as the Fruity Video Player, DirectWave Sampler, Harmless, NewTone, Pitcher, Gross Beat, and the Hardcore Guitar Effects Suite.[20]
FL Studio comes with a variety of plugins and generators (software synthesizers) written in the program's own native plugin architecture. FL Studio also has support for third-party VST and DirectX plugins.[31] The API has a built in wrapper for full VST, VST2, VST3, DX, and ReWire compatibility.
Although FL Studio's own plugins are set to be available only in their native format in the future, some of them also function independently as standalone programs and can be purchased in VST format for use with other DAWs.
Q: Does this plugin make my songs so good that I just need to add it - and then I will be a superstar DJ?
A: There's no holy grail when it comes to plugins. You will still need to make good music and know how to tweak your shit. In the end: there are no "magical" plugins - not even if they have an angry sausage in the interface. But it will certainly make your tracks and sounds greasier and fatter.

You may find yourself using less plugins overall after buying RC-20, as it has so much to offer and can replace many other VST plugins. This multi-fx plugin is a one-stop-shop for vintage and lofi sounds.
If there's one thing FL Studio has a lot of, it's the number of plugins at your disposal. Producers of EDM or even Hip-Hop music will love the assortment of synths available for use. Whether you're in need of a drum machine, subtractive, wavetable, FM, or AM synthesis, FL has got you covered.
Also worth mentioning is the Harmor synth, which is an additive/subtractive synthesizer, an image synthesizer, and an audio resynthesizer. The only downside is that it's only available in the all plugins bundle.
The stock samples and loops that come with the software are suitable for nearly any type of music production, however, I would recommend that you import your own samples to get the most out of the program.
The native effects plugins that come bundled with FL Studio are the ones you'd expect to see in many popular DAWs, including compressors, parametric EQs, reverbs, etc. There are also a few plugins completely unique to FL, including but not limited to, 'Gross Beat' and 'Soundgoodizer'.
This area comes down to a matter of preference, as both programs offer a wide array of sounds and plugins to explore. I personally love the stock samples of Ableton over FL's, but as mentioned above, both programs allow you to download expansion packs.
Editing audio can be done from the playlist directly, or in one of the editing plugins, like Edison or Newtime, which is a time manipulation editor. If you love to sample, you're also able to slice audio up in its justly named Fruity Slicer.
Mixing in Ableton is really not better or worse than mixing in FL, as it really comes down to preference and experience. Both programs allow for third-party VSTs to be used if needed, and the stock plugins are sure to help get the job done as well.
In the end, fancy plugins can be helpful in some situations, but they aren't necessary to make good music, and focusing too much on them can take attention away from more important parts of making music.
Flex is a free, native synthesizer plugin that comes with FL Studio's interface. The interface was made by skilled music producers to make things easier for users so they didn't have to worry about making their own sound effects to use in their music projects. This is one of the most recent FL Studio plugins. The sample sound quality is amazing, and it can also create some awesome bass sounds & chords.
It can give a mix of a sense of space and depth by simulating how sound waves interact with different spaces like rooms and halls. This is one of the best FL studio plugins to have for music production.
Fruity Reeverb 2 is an updated version of the original Fruity Reeverb plugin, with new features and improvements. One of the best free plugins out there, you should absolutely use it in your plugin arsenal.
Ableton Live is a popular choice for electronic music producers and live performers, thanks to its unique features like Session view, Racks, and Max for Live. The Session view allows users to create and trigger loops and clips, making it easy to experiment with different combinations of sounds in real-time. Racks allow users to create chains of effects and instruments and save them as presets, making it easy to recall them in future projects. Max for Live is an add-on that allows users to create custom plugins and effects using the Max programming language.
