Position : AEM Content Management Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Type – Contract

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Content Management Developer with strong expertise in Java and Apache Sling to build and support content-driven websites and applications. The ideal candidate will focus on backend development, CMS components, and efficient content delivery across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance CMS features using Java and Apache Sling
• Build, customize, and maintain content components and templates
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for content delivery to web and mobile platforms
• Work with content repositories and structured content models
• Integrate CMS with Digital Asset Management (DAM) and other enterprise systems
• Troubleshoot issues, debug applications, and optimize performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, and content teams
• Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability of content applications

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development
• Solid knowledge of Apache Sling
• Experience with content-based applications / CMS platforms
• Proficiency in REST APIs and JSON
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices
• Understanding of web technologies and application architecture

---

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems
• Exposure to Headless CMS architectures
