I(Evan) am a Sr staffing specialist for Stellar IT Solutions. We have a position opened for Lead Developer that needs to be filled up immediately.             

                                 

Our Fortune 500 client is looking for a Lead Developer to work on their project based out of New York city, NY.


Job title:  Lead Developer  

Location: New York city, NY

Duration: 6 + Months      

      

Job description:             

•         Past experience with developing enterprise quality solutions in an iterative or Agile environment 

•         Experience with cloud based Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive and Spark 

•         Experience with one or more programming languages like Scala, Python, and/or Java 

•         Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills 

•         Ability to maintain focus and develop proficiency in new skills rapidly. 

•         Ability to utilize problem solving skills in a fast paced environment. 

•         Exposure to AWS is required 

•         Understanding of ML/AI technologies is preferred.

•         Review and analyze complex process, system and / or data requirements and specifications across projects

•         Serve as the technical subject matter expert for one or more areas (subsystems) for a larger system  

•         Serve as the primary designer for complex component designs for one or more areas (subsystems) for a larger system  

•         Build, test, deploy, and document complex software components for one or more areas (subsystems) for a larger system  

•         Create software engineering strategies that help identify and mitigate risks. 

•         Interface with other team members and other teams in peer review of requirements, specifications and software. 

•         Assist with adherence to technology policies and comply with all security controls. 

•         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least seven (10) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience; Master's degree and past Financial Services industry experience preferred
