Role: Senior AI Engineer (GCP)
Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement agentic AI workflows and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
Build scalable data pipelines using both streaming and batch processing architectures
Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
Monitor and optimize data quality, model performance, latency, and drift
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring high code quality and reliability
Implement data governance, security, and lineage tracking for compliance
Provide Tier 3 production support for AI systems ensuring SLA adherence
Develop and deploy REST APIs using Flask
Collaborate in an Agile/TDD environment with cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of overall experience in Software/Data Engineering
6–8 years of strong Python development experience
2–4 years of hands-on experience with:
Large Language Models (LLMs) & GPT-based APIs
Vector databases and embeddings
Fine-tuning and deploying LLMs
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services:
BigQuery
Vertex AI
Cloud Run
PostgreSQL
Experience designing OLTP and OLAP systems
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Terraform
Experience with modern AI frameworks and architectures:
RAG
LangChain
Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Google Agent Development Kit (ADK)
Experience in REST API development using Flask
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
