Seeking an experienced 10 years in Application Support proficient in Java and Jenkins to manage and optimize application environments
Job Description:
Provide expert application support focusing on Java based applications and Jenkins automation tools Monitor and maintain application performance and availability to ensure optimal user experience Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement enhancements and updates to existing applications Ensure adherence to best practices in application deployment and maintenance within the Application Support domain Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance support processes and tools Document application support procedures and maintain knowledge base articles for internal use
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and support Java applications and Jenkins pipelines in a production environment Perform root cause analysis for application incidents and implement corrective actions Coordinate with development teams to deploy new releases and patches effectively Automate routine tasks and workflows using Jenkins to improve operational efficiency Provide technical guidance and support to offshore and onsite teams Maintain communication with stakeholders regarding application status and incident resolution progress Ensure compliance with organizational policies and security standards during application support activities
