RE::Title: Lead Data Engineer

Client: Cognizant

Location: NYC or Raleigh

Job Description:

· focusing on a Data Warehouse Development. Could

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience

· 10+ years of proven experience as a seniorsoftware developer, including crafting and implementing sophisticated systems from scratch

· 5+ years of proven experience working with cloud technology (preferably Azure), data models, API design, API development

· 10+ years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake)

· 10+ years of hands-on experience with SQLdatabase design

· Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.

· Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques

· 7+ years of extensive development experience with technologies like: Python

· Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures and data sets.

· Agile development experience

· Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
