Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Digital Onshore Test Lead to lead the QA efforts for one agile QA pod focused on digital platform initiatives. This role is responsible for managing system testing across Web, API, and Mobile platforms (Android & iOS). The ideal candidate is technically hands-on, excels in leading hybrid teams (onshore/offshore), and thrives in an agile, fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a dedicated QA pod supporting digital initiatives.

Own the end-to-end QA delivery lifecycle including planning, execution, and reporting.

Oversee system testing, release readiness, and post-production validation.

Perform hands-on test automation using:

Playwright (Web)

RestAssured (API)

Espresso (Android) & XCUITest (iOS) (Mobile)

Drive In-Sprint automation to align with agile delivery goals.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

Contribute to defining and tracking QA KPIs and metrics to evaluate performance and product quality.

Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of test artifacts including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Coordinate daily with offshore teams to maintain 24/7 testing continuity and effective handoffs.

Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.

Proactively identify risks, escalate issues, and support continuous QA improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 3+ years in a QA Lead role.

Proven success managing onshore-offshore delivery models.

Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Playwright for web automation

RestAssured for API testing

Espresso & XCUITest for mobile automation

Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

ISTQB or equivalent Quality Assurance certification.

Experience in retail, e-commerce, or digital transformation environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as:

Jenkins
