Oracle Fusion Developer

Location: EST work hours – with 20% travel on a need basis (est consultants) 

Duration: 6 months extendable

Rate: $75/hr c2c all inclusive

Client Domain: Medical/Healthcare

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Fusion Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle Fusion Applications and integrations to support our enterprise business processes. This role requires strong technical expertise in Oracle Middleware, Oracle Cloud Applications, and related technologies, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is ideal for a hands-on lead who can architect, develop, and mentor while driving execution in a fast-paced transformation program

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize Oracle Fusion Applications modules including Financials, HCM, SCM, or other relevant areas.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and on-premise systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite, REST/SOAP APIs, and other middleware tools.
  • Build and optimize workflows, reports, and extensions using Oracle Application Framework (OAF), BI Publisher, and Oracle Visual Builder.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Fusion applications and integrations.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security policies.
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users.
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle Fusion technologies and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Participate in deployment activities and provide post-implementation support

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Total 10+ years expereince
  • 5 Years of experience in the solution design, implementation, and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion Applications and Integrations desired.
  • 5 Years of experience in both Application development and Integration using Oracle APEX in Oracle PaaS desired.
  • 5 Years of Technical Expertise Encompassing Fusion APIs, FBDI, ADF DI Loads, BIP and OTBI Reports desired.
  • Experience using My Oracle Support, OTN and other Oracle-provided support resources.
  • Oracle Fusion certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration Specialist).
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as an Oracle Fusion Developer or similar role.
  • Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and BI Publisher report development.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Oracle Fusion applications

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications modules (Financials, HCM, SCM, Procurement, etc.).
  • Understanding basic Oracle Fusion architecture such as Oracle naming and setup conventions, file system layout, server architecture, etc.
  • Skilled in ESS Jobs, Flex Fields (DFF, EFF, KFF), Lookups, Value sets, and Fusion Apps functional setup manager configurations.
  • Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite, Oracle BPM, and Oracle Visual Builder.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Java, and web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud deployment models.
  • Experience with Oracle Identity Management and security configurations.
  • Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
