Role Summary

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Data Scientist to drive data-informed investment and development decisions across a multifamily and mixed-use real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics to identify high-growth markets, understand renter behavior, and optimize asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze demographic, economic, migration, and market trends to identify attractive submarkets and support capital deployment decisions
• Build predictive models for occupancy, rent growth, tenant retention, and pricing optimization
• Develop tenant segmentation and behavioral analytics models to understand renter preferences and spending patterns
• Support acquisitions and development teams with predictive analytics and underwriting insights
• Create dashboards, visualizations, and executive-level reporting for investment and portfolio strategy
• Integrate geospatial, demographic, and consumer datasets for advanced market intelligence
• Translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Data Science, Predictive Analytics, and Statistical Modeling
• Expertise in Python, SQL, R, or similar analytical tools
• Experience with Machine Learning, Forecasting, Segmentation, and Regression models
• Strong data visualization experience using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Experience working with demographic, geospatial, consumer, or market datasets
• Ability to communicate analytical insights to business and investment stakeholders
