Role: Lead Mulesoft Developer

Location: US Remote

(10+ years exp)

 

Client is currently looking for a Lead MuleSoft Developer to join the Integration team and participate as part of our overall Integration development practice. In this role, you will be focusing on building a variety of solutions that address the needs for harmonizing business operations through IT systems integration, as well as integrating with partners. These solutions are expected to be scalable, secure, and highly efficient with a focus on process automation, systems integration techniques, decoupling and data management. You will be joining a fast paced, supportive, growing, collaborative, and balanced team. You will be transparently communicating to all levels of the organization as well as to clients and partners.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Perform high-level analysis of the requirements and design for integrations between business systems within clients portfolio as well as our partner ecosystem, supporting B2B and B2C experiences.

·         Provide technical leadership in terms of API platform, best practices, API standards, and guidelines to the development teams.

·         Build reusable artifacts, integration best practices standards, templates, libraries, custom connectors to be used by other team members.

·         Lead the team and technical deliverables, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality standards are met.

·         Experience with Anypoint platform setup identity management, Client management, Roles and access, environment, VPC, DLB, AWS Gateway, firewalls, network, cloud concepts etc

·         Hands-on development experience in Mule 4.x including RAML design, REST API design, Flow, Sub flow, message processor, connectors, components, scopes, flow control, error handling, batch processing, Dataweave 2.x, java, custom connector SDK, MUnits, etc.

·         Experience in Core Java, Web API - SOAP, REST, XML, YAML, CSV, TCP, WebSocket, HTTP, REST, JSON, SOAP, JDBC, JMS, FTP, etc.

·         Experience with Services Oriented Architecture and RESTful Architecture, web services, microservices Architecture.

·         Experience with DevOps, CI/CD concepts and build pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, git, docker, ansible, etc.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Experience using Agile, Scrum and iterative development practices

·         Mentor and enable other members of the team.

·         Work with project and product, development and testing teams as APIs are developed and integration patterns are implemented supporting a feedback loop to ensure designs work as expected and operational needs feed into design revisions.

·         Develop Integration solutions for APIs and non-API integrations that will be built in MuleSoft, Java, and .Net

·         Create sequence flow diagrams, component diagrams, technical stories and RAMLs as needed for integration designs 

·         Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders as needed for gathering requirements, deliver integration solutions.

·         Be able to work independently on a project but also collaborate with other solution architects, Leads and stakeholders to exchange information and expand overall knowledge in the practice

·         Manage time expeditiously in a fast paced, growing, and continuously changing environment.  Be able to focus on delivery regardless of environmental distractions

·         All other duties as assigned

·         Good to have MuleSoft Integration/Platform Architect certification

 

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         BS in Computer Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, related field or equivalent experience

·         Strong prior IT background as a developer, technical analyst, application support and or administrator

·         Relevant experience in MuleSoft 5+ years

·         Experiencing designing APIs and Databases

·         Strong understanding of agile and waterfall project delivery methods

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Experience with Anypoint platform and developing integrations using Mulesoft strongly preferred.

·         Health care (provider, pharmaceutical, and/or health plan) experience strongly preferred

·         Basic understanding of TOGAF

·         Cloud solutions experience
