Job Description – SAP ABAP Developer (SD & Revenue Recognition)

• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW) within the SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Revenue Recognition modules.
• Collaborate with functional teams (SD and RevRec) to analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing SAP processes.
• Implement and optimize ABAP-based enhancements such as user exits, BADI/BAPI implementations, enhancement points, and IDoc/BAPI interfaces to support sales order processing and revenue accounting.
• Design and develop custom reports and data extraction programs to support revenue recognition calculations, contract accounting, and SD billing processes.
• Support system integration with third-party applications, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across order-to-cash (OTC) and revenue recognition workflows.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient ABAP code in accordance with SAP best practices.
• Provide production support and issue resolution for SD and RevRec functionalities, identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes.
• Document technical specifications, configurations, and development standards, ensuring traceability and alignment with project and audit requirements.
