Job Title: Platform Product Manager – Vehicle Programs
Location: Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite)
Duration: Contract / Full-Time (As Applicable)

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Connected Vehicle Launch & Roadmap Product Manager to lead end-to-end launch readiness and connected vehicle enablement across new vehicle programs.

This role ensures every vehicle produced is properly configured, validated, and fully integrated into the connected ecosystem from day one — enabling capabilities such as connected services, Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, digital feature activation, and telemetry-driven services.

The ideal candidate will define product vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for vehicle connectivity onboarding, ensuring seamless integration across manufacturing plants, cloud platforms, telematics systems, and digital service ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities: 

Define and own the product vision and roadmap for connected vehicle onboarding and provisioning.
Drive end-to-end launch readiness for connected vehicle features across new vehicle programs.
Ensure seamless integration between manufacturing systems, telematics hardware, embedded software, and cloud platforms.
Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, program management, telematics, cloud, and digital product teams.
Oversee vehicle connectivity provisioning workflows and validation processes.
Enable features such as OTA updates, remote services, telemetry-driven insights, and digital feature activation.
Identify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges early and develop mitigation strategies.
Drive data-informed product decisions and continuous improvement throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance across connected vehicle platforms.

Required Qualifications
Experience

5–12+ years of Product Management experience
Experience in Connected Vehicles, IoT, Telematics, Automotive Software, or Cloud Platforms
Proven experience managing end-to-end product lifecycle
Experience working with cross-functional technical teams

Technical Knowledge: 

Strong understanding of:

Connected vehicle ecosystems
Telematics systems
IoT platforms and device connectivity
Service delivery platforms
OTA update systems
Vehicle software architecture
ECU configuration and vehicle electronics
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Embedded systems and telematics
Vehicle connectivity provisioning workflows
Product strategy and roadmap planning
