Position Summary
The Salesforce Technical Design Lead is responsible for driving the technical architecture and design of Salesforce solutions that meet complex business requirements. This role ensures that all solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities. The Technical Design Lead collaborates closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate functional requirements into robust technical designs, oversee integration strategies, and guide developers on implementation standards. Acting as a key technical authority, this position plays a critical role in multi-cloud strategies and external system integrations.
Primary Focus: Technical implementation and detailed design.
· Responsibilities:
o Translate the solution architecture into detailed technical designs.
o Define coding standards, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
o Lead development teams, review code, and ensure technical quality.
o Handle complex customizations (Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs).
o Optimize performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
o Break down technical specifications into manageable size user stories.
· Skills:
o Ability to create detailed technical specifications and oversee implementation.
o Deep understanding of Salesforce data security model, including complex sharing rules, role hierarchies, and object-level permissions; especially in the context of community users, and guest users via Experience Cloud sites
o Strong programming expertise in Apex, LWC, JavaScript.
o Deep understanding of Salesforce APIs, integration frameworks, and DevOps tools.
o Expertise in Salesforce experience cloud environment, building complex custom solutions.
o Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills to drive the work with business and dev/qa teams.
