Job Description.
Understanding / owning the current technical solution for the Client's eCommerce initiative with Distributors and Retailers.
Coordinating and resolving all technical issues associated with the Client's eCommerce Solution. This will involve coordinating and leading conference calls with Retailer, RAS Vendors, GXS, Cleo, and Distributor to resolve issues.
Work closely with Client's EDI Hub Solution Provider ? GXS
Work closely as part of a Client's implementation team and provide technical consultation and investigation on issues that impede the team?s ability to implement EDI solutions with Distributors and Retailers
Develop an understanding of the integration with Client's Legacy applications as applicable for ASN and eInvoice components of the eCommerce solution and assume ownership for ongoing solution design modifications driven by business change or project requirements
Obtain a basic understanding of Distributor business processes related to EDI functions, when each EDI process is performed, distributors? individual business processes and timelines
Resource /role will understand the procedures and EDI data necessary to successfully implement the Distributor-Retailer EDI solution including understanding
Testing processes of the Retailer
Client's 4.0 UFF map specs
Cleo/AS2 install, configuration and testing
Distributor RAS EDI setup.
Posses practical knowledge of, but not limited to: EDI eCommerce standards, Route Accounting Software (RAS) Cleo LexiCom AS2,, network architecture, Microsoft Active Directory, file sharing and authority rules, routers, firewalls, batch jobs and scripts, as well as basic PCs and peripherals, Microsoft suite of Office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Internally motivated to achieve milestones and goals as a team
Excellent issue management and resolution skills
Responsible for establishing technical approaches for building business solutions. Ensures conformance of system design to defined architecture standards and models. Works with IS management and project teams to define and communicate systems architecture.
6 to 10 or more years in the role would be expected.
