Provisioning is the process of taking an AMI meter from being manually
read to being automatically read and billed.
* Responsible for working the list of meters with issues that kick-out
when provisioning cannot be completed, and driving the issues to
resolution.
* Analyze meter-level metrics data to determine cause of provisioning
issues. Research and investigate individual meter symptoms in CSS, RNI,
MTR, MDMS and other systems. Determine & implement necessary course of
action to resolve issues.
* May be asked to work with local field staff to coordinate fieldwork
needed for hands-on meter issue investigation, exchanges, etc.
* Advanced clerical type of position.
* Take daily direction from Provisioning Lead and Provisioning
Coordinator.
Computer savvy, with proficiency in Excel. Must work full-time out of
the Madison office.
Strong general analytical skills, detail oriented, personal organization
skills, self-directed, and some minimal level of verbal communications
skills for interfacing with Provisioning Team members, and possibly with
field staff.
Nice to have (not required): Advanced Excel user. Experience with CSS,
RNI, MTR or MDMS. Knowledge or ability to
create SQL queries.
Produce specific recommendations, based on personal analysis, for
putting individuals meters into a provision-able state.
Generate spreadsheets containing meter data, analysis results and
recommendations.
Create and update transactions in Client's system to initiate, and
document, analysis results and meter troubleshooting directives, and
results.
Summarize and report metrics data on volumes processed each week for the
Provisioning Coordinator & Provisioning Lead
