A Few Books to Give Away

I picked up a few books at the Stonewall Book Awards program.  These books go out to the first one of you requesting the book.

1.  Unbecoming by Jenny Downham
2.  Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard:  The Hammer of Thor  by Richard Riordan  (signed copy)
3.  When the Moon Was Ours  by Anna-Marie McLemore
4.  If I Was Your Girl  by Meredth Russo

They ran out of copies of Rethinking Sexism, Gender, and Sexuality  Ed. by Annika Butler-Wall, Kim Cosier, Rachel L. S. Harper, Jeff Sapp, Jody Skolower, and Melissa Bollow Tempel.  It looks like an excellent book.  It is available from www.rethinkingschools.org for a 20% discount between now and 7/31/17.  This is the ALA discount they are giving.  Just use code:  STAW17F to get the discount.

I also have a book that was sent out to many libraries so you may already have a copy but we don't need a copy in the LCLD office.  It really is an excellent collection of essays,
