Hello:
I have a problem using process_radtags(stack v2.55). My restriction enzyme is taqaI, but there is only taqI in the program. Are these two the same?
  Thanks!

Hi, I am not familiar with that enzyme, I don’t see it listed on the NEB website or on Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_restriction_enzyme_cutting_sites:_T%E2%80%93Z). Where did you get it and what is the cutsite recognition sequence?

Hello:
This restriction enzyme  was told to me by the company, but the sequence was not explained. I searched some information of restriction enzyme and found that the enzyme cutting point of TAQL was consistent with my result, meanwhile, I found some information about Taqal in a patent report, which indicated the  sequence.so I was wondering whether it was the same.
The file name of patent report is US20150159216A1.pdf   and the other one is my data. It can be seen that the cutsite recognition sequence is CGA, which is consistent with Taql.
      Thanks!
