I'm just desperate about the possibility of having lost six months of ustacks runs (and having to defend my thesis in nine months :)) I would greatly appreciate any help or clue.
Basically, I have about 2,600 samples (150 parents and 2,450 nimphs). Since April I've been running ustacks, with the samples divided into four folders, to process four batches at the same time. But due to time or memory restrictions, for each batch I had some samples that ran quickly and were finished, and others that I submitted in five or six different jobs, always increasing time and/or memory. (P.S. around 100 samples are still waiting in the server queue, just because I requested a huge amount of memory).
I was about to start the catalog using only the parents (150), but after talking with my supervisor, she thinks I might have some issues due to internal IDs assigned to each sample, and different batches of samples. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any chance to assign a new individual ID to each sample, instead to run everything again?
Again, thanks for any help!
Best,
Laís
