Populations freezing on Now Processing

Hi all, 

We are attempting to run populations using gstacks files generated with gstacks v2.64. populations using stack version 2.64 or 2.68 freezes in endless loop

No error message seen. 

populations -P ${samples} -M ${pop} -O ${out} -t 8 -p 2 -r .8 -R .7 --min-maf 0.05 --structure --genepop --write-single-snp --radpainter --smooth --verbose

 

Any idea why this might be happening?
