Sumstats_Summary, Variant vs Polymorphic Sites

In the Sumstat_sumary.tsv output from the populations command, what is the difference between a variant and a polymorphic site?

Hi Nevin,

The number of variant sites is the number of sites across all
populations that are variant (but not all of those are variant in the
current population) while the number of polymorphic sites are the number
of variant sites in the current population.
