I actually played with this colour scheme when I was creating the dark theme three years ago, but I also came to the same conclusion as @dalto, it was too plum and purple for a dark theme. But for those who like it, it is great the option is out there.
The only change I would make (apart from more green) is making the dark theme always the default, because opening the forum in LibreWolf (which defaults everything to light theme) without being signed in is like sitting next to a flash-bang grenade.

I've tried searching up global dark mode Firefox but nothing seems to work for every website unlike chromium browsers with "chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark" and setting it to "enable with selective inversion of non-image items" is there any way to do a similar thing? or with a addon that works everywhere and doesn't get blocked by certain websites?
Sitting with text-based tools with what background can be really a challenging thing. So by using dark mode, we are reducing the blue light exposure and in the end, it helps with eye strain. Simply put, you save your eyes and you get less tired. Studies have shown that people with visual disorders can tolerate dark mode better.
First of all, in 2022 we have an energy crisis. Gas prices are going up, we have more electronics than ever, and more electric cars than ever. In England people are refusing to pay their electrical bills because of the energy prices, so we should do everything we can to save electricity and save the environment. And yes with dark mode we can consume less electricity, however only on OLED displays and this is not valid LCD or LED displays.

Recently I discovered a firefox extension that converts any website into a dark version. Works both on firefox for mobile and on the desktop (andall other major browsers), is open source, causes less strain on the eyes and improves battery life. Just as the earlier post on Blokada, I find this sucha cool piece of software I wanted to share it with all my readers.
For a few websites I had to disable the extension which is made easy in via theextensions button in the browser. It seems my battery life improved on android, but that is so subjective I'm hesitant to state it. However, a bright white pixeluses more energy than a dark pixel, especially on an OLED screen so there is atheory there.
Dark Reader is a browser extension that allows users to apply a dark mode or dark theme to websites and web pages. But it is important to note that not all websites support dark mode and some may appear distorted or broken when using Dark Reader. Also, it is worth noting that some users have reported that the extension may cause performance issues on certain websites or make it harder to read certain content.
When you install for the first time Turn Off the Lights browser extension, it keeps it simple for new users. That is the lamp button dims the web page and highlights the video player. However, if you are looking for the Night Mode (convert all websites from light to your dark theme), you can enable this feature on the Turn Off the Lights Options page. This does ignore night mode styling the video controls in embeds such as on YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Youku, etc.
Independent third parties develop firefox extensions, but the most popular ones are subject to safety testing before Mozilla accepts each new version. So while popular extensions are generally safe, you should take some precautions.

Which browser are you using that is important.
If you want that feature use gnome epiphany browser
And you did not mentioned system info and os version. It is required to help.
If you are on f36 beta it is actually running gnome 42 which was redesigned to work in that system wide preference dark or light with newer gtk4 and libadwaita. If you are on 35 just wait a few days maybe a week and you will get the f36.
Please add an optional Dark/Night Mode to these forum pages. This feature has become commonplace on the internet. It appears that there are a number of options to easily add a Dark Mode/Theme to the Invision forum platform you're using. This one is the most recent: -dark-mode/
In the meantime I use Dark reader for Firefox. It works great and has powerful features. There are several other dark mode for browser extensions out there. Just make sure the reviews are good and the review count is high. What I really want is a Dark mode for the Windows version of Accordance. I wont use it till it does even though I own it.
