It is with great sorrow that we write to inform you of the falling asleep of Pantelis L. Dontas.
Services: A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, all at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Obituary:
Pantelis L. Dontas, 84, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Evangelia (Bournias) Dontas, and together they would have celebrated 56 years of marriage on September 28. Born in Kipouries, Chios, Greece, on September 18, 1941, he was the son of the late Lambros and Kalliopi (Georgalos) Dontas. Pantelis was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bethlehem. He was a hardworking and dedicated restaurant owner and cook of the Top Diner, where he provided delicious food and warm family service to his community for many years until retiring. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife, Evangelia; his son, Lambros and wife Vasiliki, with their children Pantelis and Irene; his daughter, Kaliopi and husband Dimitri Condoleon, with their children Michael, Pantelis and fiance Elena, and Eugenia; and his daughter Maria and husband Rolando Rodriguez Jr, with their children Alex and Antonio. He is also survived by his sister, Eleftheria Demetriou of London, UK, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Panayiotis, and his sister, Anna Zographou, both of London.

Burial: To follow the service at Holy Protection Monastery, 1 St. Joseph Way, White Haven, PA 18661.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Protection Monastery, in care of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Bethlehem, in memory of Pantelis.
