Services: Friends will be received Monday, January 3, 2022, 3-8pm, in Sollon Funeral Home, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 10-11am, in the All Saint's Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg, PA 15317. Services will be held at 11am, with Father George Athanasiou, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.

Obituary:
Esther Lucas, 82, of Canonsburg, died Thursday, December 30, 2021 peacefully in her home with her family by her side. She was born January 6, 1939, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of George and Helen Cagigas Georges. Esther was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved cooking and baking, especially Baklava, and always welcomed her family and friends. Esther was an active member of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Canonsburg, where she was a life member of the Daughters of Penelope. On August 24, 1958, she married Peter S. Lucas, with whom she shared over 63 years of marriage, who survives.
In addition to her husband, Esther is survived by her daughters, Helene Raymond, of Allentown; Zeffie (Clinton) Carroll, of Canonsburg; her son, Steve (Stacey) Lucas, of Canonsburg; grandchildren, Samantha (Connor Burns) Raymond, Emma Raymond, Lucas Carroll, Estee Carroll, Peter Lucas, Gabriel Lucas, and Anna Lucas; several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Michael Georges, and her sister, Marian Pantelas.

Additional visitation will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 10-11am, in the All Saint's Greek Orthodox Church, 601 W. McMurray Road, Canonsburg, PA 15317. Services will be held at 11am, with Father George Athanasiou, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church Endowment Fund, in Esther Lucas's name.
Esther's family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and hospice for the compassionate care that was given to her.
