Dear Parishioners,

It is with great sorrow that we write to inform you of the falling asleep of Panagiotis “Peter” Manesis.

Viewing and Funeral on Friday May 8, 2026, viewing 1PM to 2PM followed by the Funeral Service at 2PM  all at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral 1607 West Union Blvd. Bethlehem, PA  18018.  Burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.

Obituary:

Panagiotis “Peter” Manesis, 74 of Breinigsville passed away on May 3, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.  He was the husband of Maria (Bozakis) Manesis, they were48 years on  March 4th.

Peter was born in Andros, Greece on July 1, 1951 son of the late George and Margarita (Roussos) Manesis.

He was a Chef retiring after many years.

He was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bethlehem.

Peter was a beloved husband and father, loved by everyone who ever had the chance to meet him.  He had the biggest heart of gold and will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure to know him.

Peter is survived by his wife Maria, son George Manesis of Allentown, daughter Margarita Manesis Knipe of Breinigsville, brothers John Manesis of Greece and Dimitri Manesis husband of Toula of Stroudsburg; many nieces and nephews.
