The Principal, Fr.Andrew Fernandes, VOBA along with all batches of Vincentians from the early 1960's to 2016, have come together for a common goal, to improve the sports infrastructure at our Alma Mater (St.Vincent's Hugh School)

In Phase 1, we are going to develop state of the art, international standard athletics infrastructure, which will include a world class synthetic track with space allocated for throwing and jumping events.

Phase 2 is to further develop the Father Oesch (indoor) hall into a multi sport facility, with special emphasis on three sports - basketball,volleyball and badminton. Here as well, we will be improving the playing surface to world class standards. 

Phase 3, which will run parallel to the above phases, is to ensure a coaching structure is put in place to enable the school to spot and develop talent among our students.

All the above will give the students a better base to not only grow into better sports persons but also a more holistic education.

We have started the process to create a network of over 10000 ex students, who can then spread the word and raise the funds. The funds will be collected by the school trust and these contributions will have Income Tax exemptions u/s 80 G.

This is a once in a life time opportunity for students, both past and present to build a legacy, which in time will be looked upon as the standard in sports education in the country.

This has already been done effectively by batches 1982/84 for the Swimming Pool and by the batch 1990/92 for the Basketball Court. 

We would like the collection of funds to start right away with a deadline of 90 days. 

We will dare and do and WIN!!!
