RE: REUNION

Hello All,

 

Presumably, at this stage, the end of June is a non-runner for any gathering.  If a gathering is to happen, does anyone have any thoughts on;

1. When - possibly  (a) end of September- ties in with graduation 1979, or (b) Christmas -with people coming home anyway ,

2.  What - possibly  (a) Kevin Bartley (currently a Priest in Sutton) saying mass before mild festivities, (b) some activity on sea or wherever, followed by mild-ish festivities (c) Visit lap dancing club where heroin addicted Russian girls will do their best to amuse us all.

3.  Where -  possibly  (a) restaurant  (b) pints etc.

4.  Whom -  possibly  (a) ourselves alone (b) with significant others or (c) with surviving teachers.

 

Personally speaking, I'm easy. I imagine everybody is up to their eyes with life in general, so something that does not require huge planning might be best. My preference is ourselves alone, in a restaurant, that serves draught beer and wine. So I respectfully suggest that we form a ....committee. One meeting should do it and then whatever is decided be put to people, we gather numbers and see who shows up on the day.

Greetings all.....

I suppose we will never get a date that suits everyone, so the best bet it that we form a small group to make a decision re venue/date/activities and communicate/seek commitment.

I'm happy to take the lead with Kevin and come back with a proposal in 10 days or so.
