Just a gentle reminder that 29th June 2009, if I am not mistaken is
the 30th Anni of our graduation.

I think we should organise a get together for this major milestone, in
& around the date in question ?

Anyone out there interested ?

Hi Peter,
Good to hear from you. I enjoyed the last one in Hedigan's. Would be
great to have a bigger one. Wouldn't mind helping out. Is holiday time the
best time?

All the best,
Tommy Mc Donnell.

Me too.

Something to get started on now is reconnecting with the rest of our classmates. The last reunion was done by the seat of our pants and we definitely did not contact everybody. To be fair to everybody we should make our best efforts to make contact this time out. If someone can suggest the best place to get the definitive list of names ... that would be a starting point. There are about 20 or so of us on this email list and I'll bet that between us we are no more than one or  two phone calls away from everybody else we need to contact.

I'll volunteer to manage the contacts list online and we can tick off everybody as we are sure we've made contact. I'm going to suggest the class photos as being the starting point for building our names list. Last time out we tried naming everybody in those photos I'm sure we can finish the  job this time.

Regards

Fergal

Just back from holiday. It's a good idea and I'm very interested, date permitting.  I'm sending the group address to Chris McTiernan also having tracked him down last year although you already have him included.
Best wishes

Hi to all,

Good idea. I will be there wherever it may be. Is there a full list with last known contacts? If so we could divide up the tracking among us.

Hi Ray, and everyone,

I think it’s a great idea to meet up – dates permitting, but I should be around at the end of June. I am in contact with Brian Moore – I think Kevin Reynolds included him in the email list but if not I can dig out his contact details and send them on.

Best wishes,

Bref

Based on some feedback, and a need to get in contact with a wider
circle, I think it may be better to push the date out to Sept.
This will give us more time to organise properly. Fergal has
volunteered to coord the address book etc.

We could go for any of the Sat nights in Sept, ie 5,12,19,26. (I'll
see how we can organise some sort of voting on best date to cover the
multitude).

I think we should organise a dinner & drinks. (Pity the Hibernian is
long gone).

In the meantime, if you have been in contact with others, get them to
join this Google Group.

September Dinner and Drinks would be great. I'm sure, with notice and
numbers, we could exclusively book a restaurant or bistro. My tribe have
used the "Ten Fourteen" in Clontarf for Christenings. At a smaller
gathering, we also christened a niece upstairs in Hedigans. It wasn't
half bad. If people were of a mind to make an afternoon/evening of it ,
a boat (with fishing gear etc) could be had in Malahide or Howth
followed by festivities. Just some thoughts.
Best,
Kevin
PS I read last week that Declan Falconer's brother, Harry, passed away.

Good ideas. What about a golf outing? Are there enough of us who are bad
at the game to enjoy and afternoon on the course followed by a bit of
grub, prize giving and too much drink?

Hope all are well

Hello all,

Will definitely try to make it to whatever is organised, date
permitting. Like the idea of a golf outing, which could be followed by
dinner and/or drinks. I'm definitely bad enough at the game to be
competitive :-)

Greetings from New York. Delighted to see and hear from old classmates at St. Vincent's.
I am married and have a 13 year old son, whom has met Kevin Reynolds quite often on both sides of the Atlantic. Why don"t we get everybody over to Manhattan for the reunion? We have a place in the Hamptons and can sleep a bunch. Plane tickets become a little less expensive after September and nyc would be a great trip. Anyway, I hope to see everybody soon, in the US or in Europe, and, if not, anybody that is in nyc, please look me up.

Hi folks,
It's really great to hear from you all and I'm delighted that there's going to be reunion especially as I missed the last round.  Late Sept is probably OK for me although I would only be able to confirm when you set an actual date.  What about teachers being invited; any plans there?

Do you have a full list of contacts yet?  For instance, I recall Philip(Bowler)returned to Ireland in late 1990's and may be in the banking industry?  Perhaps Mark (Collins) knows.  I made contact  with Chris Mc Tiernan last year or in 07 but have not been able to reach him this time i.e. email  was returned.  Will try again.  Dave, good to hear you' re in NYC and thanks for extending the invitation to visit; as regards visiting us here Northumberland, I can offer a large hen house.

May as well get in on the action here and extent invitations. While NZ
is not exactly the sort of place you will be passing through if anyone
does end up here there will be a place to kip for you. Our henhouse
may not be as big as the Northumberland variety, but there are fresh
eggs and fish and homemade wine and cider.

Hi all

Greetings from the west coast of Norway, Haugesund to be exact. Gone pretty much native here after 25 years but can still communicate in English , just about ;-)
Good to here so many "voices" from the past. I will try to make any festivities planned. Bed and beer always available for anyone passing this way. Sorry Ray, not sure which e-mail address you have.
