The schedule of services for February is now on-line on the parish web site (www.sfzadonsk.org), and is also attached to this e-mail as a single PDF file containing both the Russian and English together.

A reminder to all that this present week, following the Sunday of the Tax Collector and the Pharisee, is a fast-free week. We are reminded by the Church — as we approach the Great Fast — that we must not become 'pharisaical' in our fasting or prayer, and so this first full week of the Lenten Triodion is kept without our normal Wednesday and Friday fasts.

If you have not yet had your house blessed following the Feast of Theophany, a reminder that there is a sign-up sheet at the candle desk in the parish, where you can select a date and time for this important event to take place in your home.
