to Systems Thinking Ontario
For the last Systems Thinking Ontario session for 2024, we'll be meeting at the Evergreen Brick Works.

Join us for an immersive discussion in the Space for Grief installation, developed by Method Collective members: Calla Lee, Ziyan Hossain and Fran Quintero Rawlings.

After visitors have had the opportunity to explore the installation, the team will serve as co-discussants on the research foundations for the work.

We shouldn't have a space constraint at this venue.  If you want to preregister, the announcement is at https://systems-thinking-grieving.eventbrite.ca/

PostScript note for 2025

After changing our format in 2020 to deal with the pandemic, we're looking into making two changes:

(1) We're going to change the meeting day from Mondays to Thursdays.  We've had a long association with OCADU that we would like to strengthen.  The "Understanding Systems" class offered in Winter 2025 meets in two sections on Monday evenings and Thursday evenings.  To open up the possibility of engaging novice systems thinkers earlier, we're obviating the scheduling conflict.

(2) We're planning to restart more in-person meetings.  The spirit will be close to the original meetings dating back to 2013:  a group of people huddled in a circle, in a free-flowing discussion.  This means that we'll also reconvene after-meeting dinners, for those who want to extend the engagement.

We will still have some meetings online, that can be recorded and published.  (The in-person meetings didn't use to any electronic media support).

We'll send more details, after we've worked them out.
