FW: CWA Lenten supper

Dear friends,

It's time again to prepare the annual Lenten meal for our fellow parishioners.

We are scheduled to host the supper on Friday March 27. We will once again be serving gumbo. We need a team (3 people minimum) on board to prepare the meal beginning at 1:00pm, a few more helpers to come in around 5:00 pm to help with last minute prep and serving, and an additional crew to assist with clean up afterwards.  If you can help out in any way with the Lenten meal, please reply to this email so we know who we have helping and when to expect you to arrive.  This is a wonderful service to the Parish and a great way to build fellowship, which you know already if you have had the opportunity to attend the Lenten suppers. Come join in!

We are still looking for helpers for the upcoming meal on Friday. I have only two people that have volunteered to help. I want to thank them for stepping up to help out.  Please consider coming in to work for whatever amount of time you can give. Even if you cannot attend the meal, I need some people in the kitchen to cook that afternoon. Please let me know when you are available to come in and lend a much needed hand to your sisters in Christ.
