The First King of Israel: Saul - 1 Samuel 9-31
4. Israel's request for a king was a refusal of Gods kingship and reflected a desire to be 'like the other nations' Are you looking to anyone other than God to be king in your life? Are you having trouble trusting him, and trying to take things into your opwn hands the way Saul did? Look through the Psalms and find one that speaks to your heart.
