Hi guys,
Have we decided what kinds we will serve and who brings what?

I won't be there for the supper but Paul will go and help.

Usually two kinds od salad- right?
One idea is a Greek: Romain lettuce, cucumbers, olives, grape tomatoes, fetta cheese with vinegrette dressing. Paul can bring cucumbers, olives, tomatoes and dressing for sure (and possibly other things if needed)...anybody wants to bring  romain and/or fetta cheese?

The other for green salad? Or any other idea? For green salad, lettuce, red peppers, cucumbers and some carrots plus a dressing?

You may get a big pack of romain bunches or salad pack and use it for both the greek and green...

Just throwing ideas...what are your thoughts?

I can bring a couple of large bags of romain and feta cheese for the Greek salad.  For the green salad, I can pick up ranch dressing and red peppers.  If someone else could pick up a few more bags of lettuce and some other veggies for the green salad and maybe one more dressing?  How much do you think we need?  Enough to fill two large bowls?  Any other ideas?

Thanx, Eileen.
Yes, I think we need enough to fill two large bowls...

I have a large bag of kale that I don't think I will be able to finish - would that be good to serve? I can also grab some other veggies to add and a dressing, and lettuce if we don't want to go with kale. Let me know.

What time should we get to the church to start preparing?

Thanx, Michael!
Eileen, your call for the salad ingredients and what time to gather- again, I won't be there for the supper but will join the B study after that.

How about meeting around 5:00 as we will need to put it together?  Michael/Paul, do you plan to go to stations at 5:30?  Michael, maybe bring the kale and one or two large bags/tub/head of lettuce plus the bottle of dressing and veggies.  Is that too much?

I can send Paul with a couple of carrors as well.
And you may not have enough time for the station itself...

Thanks, BS group.
So much good planning ahead - for our Balestra Hilton simple soup supper..

Last week about 15 folks came.
Who knows for this week - more?,   20 or so?
As God leads.
Any leftovers are quite easily, usually, shared with the homeless lunches ministry the next day.

May God bless and guide us all!
Thanks for some sunshine today, Lord - thanks very much.

With you all in our Lord and Church,
Dcn. me

That sounds good, I picked up some more stuff tonight. I'll head over straight from work so I should be there around 5:15.
