How are you? I need a favor from you.

I need to purchase a PlayStation Gift Card or Nordstorm Gift Card for my Nephew, Its his birthday but i am unable to do this now because I'm currently traveling. Can you get the card from any nearby store around you? I'll reimburse you as soon as i am back. Kindly let me know if you can handle this.

Hi Kathleen so good to hear from you.
I can do it either way. I don't know about such a thing as PlayStation gift cards- is there a store that specifies the game card? When i googled, Bestbuy sells it- version 4 for about $250. It says version 5 will be released this year. Would u like Bestbuy gift card maybe? I can surely do Nordstrom gift card too. Just email or even better will be texting me which store and what amount.

Apologies if this is legitimate, but I am suspicious that this is a scam. Before anyone sends any gift card codes, please confirm with Kathleen through some other format (e.g. phone call) that will allow you to verify that it is in fact Kathleen making this request.

Hello Christine,

I would hold off on buying anything until you speak with Kathleen first over the phone, as a security measure.

Also Kathleen, if this is legitimately, you could Zelle/Venmo the money first to Christine. But I wouldn’t provide any of the info until you speak with Kathleen over the phone and recognize her voice.

I am just ensuring this is a legitimate request.
