Kelly, Mike, Pete, and Doug,

On behalf of the St. Lawrence men’s CRHP 2 presenting team, Thank you all so very much for feeding us on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.  The weekend would not have been the same without your efforts and contribution!   Please know that all of the leftovers were shared with the Quinn House, a ministry and licensed food bank: http://www.thequinnhouse.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=63&Itemid=59.

To Jim, Bernie and Danny,

A special thank you for being part of the presenting team as music guru (Jim) and HELP/table leader hybrid (Bernie), and to Danny for bringing over the HELP letters from St. Brigid.  You added a truly special element by bringing CRHP 1 and 2 together.  The model and infrastructure to carry it forward is now solidly established.

On a final note, the weekend was an incredible success and a joy to all on both receiving and presenting.  I took this picture on my phone at around 3 a.m. of one of the receiving team members during Saturday night’s adoration (for those who were there, it was “Chally”).  I think he was in this position for over an hour, full of praise, worship and meditation with our Lord.   What a blessing to witness something so beautiful and amazing.

Your Brother,

Shawn

I had an absolute blast with you guys!

At the beginning of the weekend, my hope was to see the Holy Spirit moving among the men in attendance. I believe I witnessed that many times over. Your Parish is very fortunate to have you all carry the flame forward from here.

How To Access Music From The Weekend

Several of you asked me for links to the music from the weekend. I ran the entire "show" from an app called Spotify. You can now listen to Spotify from your computer, mobile or tablet for free. You'll just hear ads in between songs until you upgrade for about $10/mo.

I've pasted links below to each playlist I used during the weekend. I believe all you'll need to do is sign up for Spotify here and then click on any of these links to be taken to that playlist. Let me know if you run into issues with it and I'll try to help you out.

Oddly enough, the Bollywood song I played during one of our "sharing" sessions got a lot of inquiries on my way out the door yesterday. (You guys crack me up! Glad you liked it.) To get your Bollywood fix, look for the song called "Beware of the Boys" by Panjabi MC. It's in the "CRHP Sound Effects" playlist near the bottom.

I totally agree with Shawn, the weekend was very successful.  Like I've already stated, it was one hell of a ride and I'm glad I was there to experience it.  I'll do it again whenever, where ever and how ever I'm needed.

All of you guys were awesome this weekend.  My life is infinitely better since I've gotten to know you.

YBIC,

James Elder

p.s. Chally was at my table.  You guys should remember him.  He's the Jew-maican.
