Subject: Not so good tidings ...
My brothers and sisters in Dominic,
Well I managed to do it again. I've been terminated after four and a half months with SEDC here in Dunwoody.
Yes I'm very upset and my mind is scrambled eggs right now.
I do have a lead that wants to speak to me even this evening ... From ACS /Xerox.
Just keep me in your prayers now. Things happen for a reason and God gives us nothing we can't handle. "That which does not kill us only makes us stronger."
I'm honestly somewhere between this position and a critical level of self-esteem at this point. Feel free to call me if you like.
Thank you for all the support you give me.
In JMJ and St. Dominic,
Bob

Keep the faith, Bob. Don’t despair, you are in favor with God, as he is unloading a lot of troubles on you. Know that you are bearing it for others, who may not be able to.
Here is my news, which I sent to my boss. Prayers for their 14 year old daughter.
Susan,
A good friend was in the news…
No need to see the link, it is a murder-suicide. The man shot his wife, and then turned the gun on himself.
I coached soccer with Dan when our daughters were very young. We were on the board of the church men’s group and worked side-by-side on our annual Christmas tree lot. A couple of years ago I worked with Dan as a Holy Redeemer “carpool dad” almost every morning. My daughter left for high school… his daughter was 1 year behind, and he worked every day at carpool last year. He was a Knight of Columbus with me. He survived a near fatal blood infection 4 years ago… to the point where he was in a coma for almost 2 months, and was put under hospice care. His recovery was no less then miraculous, as he literally fight his way back to strength.
I spoke with him for countless hours about his miracle of life.
After his recovery, he was a very difficult man. He had been a builder, and very good with his hands, but he was no longer able to hold a simple hammer with steadiness. We worked on the set of “Willy Wonka” a couple of years ago, for Katie Rose’s 8th grade play, and it was a challenge to be with him, as his frustration over his new disability would get the best of him. Through it all, his daughter, Kathleen, was a wonderful helper. She was kind and patient with him, when the rest of us “grown ups” would turn our backs. And now she’s an orphan. Whatever led to his wife Sharon moving out, in with her mother, was not known to us, as for the last 6 months, we had not crossed paths.
Now it seems I didn’t even *really* know him. And to learn of all this today… it breaks my heart. Kathleen losing her parents this way. I’m at a loss for words… maybe Mt 14:27.
Thanks!

Bob,
You are in my Hours every day. The young girl and her family are also in them. This is a terrible evil that was done. The best response is prayer, for the Tormented, repose and the Tormentor, mercy.
St Michael the archangel defend us in battle.
Be thou our shield against the snares and wickedness of Satan,
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
And do thou, oh prince of the heavenly host, cast into
Hell, Satan and all his minions who prowl about the earth
Seeking souls to devour.
Amen
