June Boyce-Tillman - University College Winchester
Professor June Boyce-Tillman is well known to LGB Christians for the
hymns she has written which speak so eloquently to matters of
inclusion and justice.
June Boyce-Tillman is Professor of Applied Music at University College
Winchester. She has published widely in the area of education
particularly music and religious education. Her most recent books are
Constructing Musical Healing - The Wounds that Sing (Jessica Kingsley)
and The Creative Spirit - Hildegard of Bingen (Canterbury Press). In
addition, she is a composer of hymns and operas and a performer. She
is active in community music making, specializing in music and
spirituality and exploring the possibilities of intercultural/
interfaith sharing through composing/improvising.
